Police have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a robbery that left a pensioner injured.
The incident happened in the Locheil Road area of Inverness around 10pm on Tuesday whereby a man gained access to a property and stole a single figure sum of money.
An 80-year-old man was treated by staff at Raigmore Hospital after receiving injuries to his arm.
Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance with the inquiry.
