Police have confirmed the sudden death of a man in his 40s in the Inverness area.
The unidentified man was found in the High Street area of Clachnaharry shortly before 9am today, leading to several police units and two ambulances being dispatched to the scene.
Police have stated there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at around 8.55am to the High Street area at Clachnaharry, Inverness, following the report of the sudden death of a man in his 40s.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and as is standard with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 0851 hours today to attend a patient at High Street, Clachnaharry. We dispatched two ambulance crews to the scene.”
