The 48-year-old man fell from a feed vessel at a fish farm on Thursday and was pulled aboard by colleagues and taken ashore. The casualty was placed in the care of a local doctor and taken to Uist and Barra hospital. Coastguards praised him for wearing his life jacket, a factor they said which helped save his life.
