Police in Inverness are appealing for information after a theft from a parked car in the city centre.
Entry was forced to a Toyota Hilux by a breaking a window while the vehicle was parked on the ground floor of the two deck car park in Rose Street sometime overnight from Thursday, April 4 and before 11.30am on Friday, April 5.
A quantity of alcohol was stolen from within.
Inquiries are ongoing and officers are urging anyone who may have information to come forward.
Constable Jason Hasson of the city centre policing team said: “Incidents like this are fortunately very rare in Inverness city centre and we are working to identify whoever is responsible.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen any activity around Rose Street or the car park overnight to let us know, even if it didn’t seem out of the ordinary at the time.
