Police in Inverness are today continuing to appeal for information to locate a 61-year-old man who has been reported missing from the south of the city.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of Zdzislaw Palucki, who was last seen on Wednesday afternoon around 4pm.
Mr Palucki was last seen in the Inverarnie area near Farr in the south of the city.
Officers yesterday issued an appeal twice for members of the public to come forward with information, with a spokesman confirming today that Mr Palucki remains missing.
Inspector Mark Czerniakiewicz said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Palucki’s welfare and would urge anyone with information which could assist us to come forward.
“He was last seen in the area of the Dalvourn campsite at Inverarnie on Wednesday at 4pm in his van.
“It is not clear which direction he may have gone subsequently. He drives a Ford Transit van so please review any dashcam footage you may have if you were in the area at the time.
“I would also urge local residents to check any outbuildings, sheds or anywhere a person may have sought shelter thoroughly.”
Mr Palucki is described as being 5ft 10in tall and of medium build with short black hair and a short beard.
When last seen he was wearing a red checked shirt and light grey trousers.
The 61-year-old drives a white Ford Transit van, bearing the registration SA61 WHC.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
