A teen missing from his home in Merseyside and thought to be in Inverness has been traced “safe and well” this afternoon in the Highland capital.
Sixteen-year-old Leon Lowe went missing from his home south of the border earlier this month, with information shared in a cross border operation between Merseyside Police and Police Scotland leading officers to believe that he may have been in the Inverness area.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm Leon Lowe, 16, who had been reported missing has been traced safe and well in Inverness.
“Thank you to everyone who shared or otherwise assisted with our earlier appeal.”
