An all-night police search for a missing person in the Fort William area has had a positive ending after they were traced safe and well.
Four coastguard rescue teams and Oban lifeboat were mobilised at midnight on Saturday to support police co-ordinating the search for the person.
Concerns had been raised after a bag was found abandoned on the shore.
The coastguard teams, from Kyle, Mallaig, Salen and Fort William searched the shores of Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil all night, with the Salen crew getting back to base at around 9am.
