Police investigating reports of a break-in to a golf centre in Inverness during the early hours this morning are keen to trace three young men.
Detective sergeant Chris MacLeod said: “Officers are carrying out inquiries following a report of a break-in at the Fairways at Sir Walter Scott Drive at about 1.40am.
“Officers are particularly keen to speak to any drivers in the area at the time who may have seen three young males on Sir Walter Scott Drive in dark clothing with hoods up.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.”
A notice on the Fairways Facebook page stated: “Due to circumstances out with our control we are closed for business today. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We should be open for business as usual tomorrow.”
