Police in Inverness are appealing for information following a break-in at the Corriegarth Hotel in the Crown area of the city.
Entry was gained to the hotel off Heathmount Road sometime between 1.30am and 7.10am yesterday.
A quantity of cash, valued in mid-three figures, was stolen from the property.
Detective Sergeant Greig Fraser said: “Our inquiries into the theft are ongoing and we would ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to come forward.
“Anyone with information is urged to call 101, quoting reference NN4941/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
