Police have charged a 19-year-old man after a series of alleged thefts and attempted thefts in Inverness.
The incidents happened in the Crown and Drummond areas of Inverness during August.
The teenager has been charged in connection with alleged thefts from two vehicles, an attempted theft by housebreaking and three thefts by housebreaking.
He is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.
Detective Constable Graham Gordon said: ”We would like to thank members of public for their assistance during these inquiries.
“We are committed to tackling acquisitive crimes here in the north and we will use all available options to us to detect crimes when they occur.
“I would like to remind householders to ensure that when leaving their property unattended to ensure that all windows, doors and outbuildings are locked.”
