The local authority has lodged plans for the homes on a 19-acre field next to its 35-home development, currently under construction in Golf View Road. The council wants to build three one-bedroom semi-detached bungalows; four semi-detached two-bedroom bungalows; and one three-bed two-storey house. The houses will be similar in style to the neighbouring phase, with white render, coloured weatherboarding and slate grey roof tiles. They will be all have gardens to the front and rear, with timber fences and small pockets of communal space planted with trees. The main access road will be through the next door development, with the eight homes arranged in a cul-de-sac.
