Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted at an Inverness bus stop.
The 38-year-old got off a bus on Oldtown Road, was pulled to the ground and kicked repeatedly in the face, head and body.
The incident happened at 3.45pm on November 26 near Glenshiel Place.
Sergeant Lucy Mackie, of Inverness Burnett Road Police Station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the woman. These kinds of attacks will not be tolerated and we are conducting extensive inquiries to find who is responsible.
“We are keen to trace the members of the public who assisted the woman following the incident.
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2258 of Tuesday, 26 November. Or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
