A missing Inverness father has been traced after his family appealed for him to get in touch.
Alan Fowler had last been seen on Friday morning around 10.35am on Englishton Muir Road, sparking an appeal on social media from his daughter Rebecca.
Her appeal from the public Missing People Scotland Facebook page was shared more than 8,000 times, with social media users across the country assisting in the search.
Mr Fowler, 45 and from the Bunchrew area of Inverness, has now been traced and is in the process of being checked over by medics.
His daughter Rebecca Fowler thanked all involved for sharing the online appeal and for their kind words as efforts were made to locate her father.
