The 34-year-old was walking along Ness Walk at 5pm yesterday when she was approached from behind by another woman. Her attacker is described as white, around 5ft 6in and of “slight” build. She was wearing a blue waterproof jacket, black skinny jeans and trainers, and ran off in the direction of Eden Court. Detective Constable Paul Sanderson said: “Fortunately the victim in this case only suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment. “We would urge anyone who may have been in the area or who has any other information to come forward.” Those with information can contact officers on 101, quoting reference 2729 of January 12.
