Police have released images of a man they believe may help them with an investigation into a serious assault in Inverness.
A man was assaulted in Academy Street at around 3am on November 10. He sustained serious injuries as a result.
The man in the images is described as white, around 5ft 9in and of slim build, in his early 20s and with short brown hair.
He was wearing black Vans trainers, light-coloured trousers and a dark, long-sleeved jumper with a zip halfway down the front.
A spokesman said: “Police Scotland request that any members of the public who recognises the male in the images or have any other information relating to the incident should contact them on 101, quoting incident number 0768 of 10 November, 2019.
“Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
