Police in Inverness are appealing for witnesses after an 85-year-old woman was knocked down by a van near Raigmore Hospital.
It happened around 11am yesterday at a junction at the back of hospital going onto Old Perth Road.
The woman suffered a serious but not life-threatening head injury after being struck as the van drove away from the junction.
The driver stopped and the woman was taken to hospital.
Sergeant Alasdair MacKay, of Dingwall road policing unit, said: “We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any dash cam footage of the incident to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 2838 of 24 February 2020.”
