Work on a stretch of the A87 Invergarry to Uig road was postponed at the weekend due to bad weather.
The £230,000 surfacing improvements north of Kinlochourn Junction will now begin on Tuesday, with the project due to be completed by 6.30am on Wednesday, March 11.
There will be no work on Friday or Saturday nights.
Traffic management will the remain the same as originally planned, with the road closed overnight for safety from 8pm to 7am.
A signed diversion will be in place via the A82 and A887, adding around 18 minutes to journey times.
The A87 will remain open during the daytime to keep disruption to a minimum, but for safety reasons a speed restriction of 30mph will remain in place as traffic will be running on a temporary surface.
