Police in Inverness are appealing for information following a sneak-in theft in the Crown area of the city.
The incident is understood to have taken place between 7pm on Thursday April 2 and 8am on Friday April 3 at Albion House on Ardconnel Terrace.
Police have said a man gained entry to the building where a credit card and a three-figure sum of cash was stolen.
The building was home to the Highland One Stop Shop service for adults and young people with autism, before it was transformed into residential accommodation.
The male suspect is described as white and aged between 20 and 40.
He was seen to be wearing a light coloured parka style jacket with a fur hood, light-coloured jogging trousers, trainers and a dark coloured beanie hat.
Constable Karen MacDonald, of Burnett Road Police Station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time that saw or heard any suspicious activity to get in touch as soon as possible.
“I would also ask anyone who may have been driving in the area around the time to review any dashcam footage and report anything which may be of use to us.”
Anybody with any information is asked to contact police on 101.
