A busy Inverness road was briefly closed this afternoon after fire broke out in a flat.
Four fire appliances, three from Inverness and one from Drumnadrochit attended the blaze in Telford Street at around 2pm.
The crews used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire, and also deployed breathing apparatus.
There are no reports of any casualties.
The fire was out by 2.45pm and firefighters remained on the scene until 3.20 to make it safe.
Police also attended.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: ” We were alerted by the Scottish Fire Service to a report of a fire in Telford Street, Inverness, around 2.10pm on Wednesday, 22 April.
“We attended but were not required.”
