Stereophonics have announced the cancellation of their upcoming gig in Inverness due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Welsh rockers were due to take to the stage at Bught Park on Saturday, July 11 for a major summer outdoor show.
However, with mass gatherings banned due to the pandemic, the group have been forced to pull the plug on their upcoming performance.
Taking to social media, the group released a statement saying they “are sorry” to announce the cancellation of their summer festival.
The four-piece group were also scheduled to perform in Edinburgh and Bangor as part of their summer festival line-up.
They wrote: “In addition to the Summer festival cancellations already announced, we are sorry to also announce that the Stereophonics summer shows in Inverness (11/7), Edinburgh (23/7) and Bangor (25/7) have been cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the UK.”
Ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket agent within 14 days and issued with a full refund.
