Officers are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Inverness.
The incident happened on Kenneth Street around 4am on July 8.
A 25-year old man was on the street when he engaged in conversation with two men who subsequently threatened him and made off with a sum of cash.
The men are described as white, aged in their 40s, both about 6ft 3ins and of medium build.
One was wearing a blue tracksuit jacket and blue jeans. They were seen running off in the direction of Celt Street.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Macleod, of Inverness CID, said: “This is a serious crime which appears to have been an isolated incident that was opportunistic in nature. Fortunately, the man was not injured.
“We would ask anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen anything suspicious, before and after the incident, to get in touch.
“Likewise, anyone who was driving at that time and may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries is asked to contact us.
