A teenager caused £2,000 worth of damage to a classic car when he punched and kicked the vehicle in frustration following an argument with a group of youths.
Peter MacCallum of Longman Caravan Site, appeared from custody after the vandalism which occurred at the weekend in Cameron Road, Inverness.
He admitted the charge plus breaching his bail curfew by not being in his home when police called.
Defence agent John MacColl said his client had fallen out with his mother and was thrown out of the house.
Fiscal depute Stephanie Ross said the vehicle was a Toyota Celica which is classed as a classic car.
“The owner estimates the cost of repairing the damage to be around £2,000.”
MacCallum had sentence deferred until July 10 for a background report and proof of the cost of the damage.
