A vital Inverness route is about to re-open to help cope with the influx of summer visitors.
Motorists are being advised that Bank Street will revert to a through road, re-opening to two-way traffic on Monday June 30 at 1pm for the months of July and August.
During this period the River Ness Flood Alleviation works will continue on the riverside of Bank Street which will include completion of the wall construction and paving works.
Bank Street will close again to traffic on September 1 to continue the flood work and re-open at the end of November for the run up to Christmas.
