Accident causes delays on the A96

A four car road accident has closed one lane on the A96 near Inverness.

Traffic is being directed past the crash which happened at the Balmachree Farm turn-off near the Balloch junction at 10.20am.

Police are on the scene while two of the cars await recovery.

Witnesses at the scene said a car had been signalling to turn right into the farm road before other cars ran into the back of it.

Nobody was injured in the accident.
