A North student will be heading from Aberdeen to Disneyland thanks to her accounting degree.
Naomi Fraser, from Nairn, graduated with a first in Accounting and Finance yesterday, and will head to the intern event in Florida next week.
Mr Young was selected for the trip by her employer Ernst and Young.
She had worked with the firm during her studies and now has a graduate job with the company.
Ms Fraser, 22, added: “I’m off to the USA as Ernst and Young have picked me to represent Scotland.
“It’ll be for just over a week from July 25, through the Ernst and Young International Leadership Conference.”
The conference takes place at Disneyland in Orlando, Florida and attracts more than 2,400 interns for a week of networking, seminars and team-building activities.
Ms Fraser described her First Class degree as an “achievement” and that she had not been expecting the grade.
She added: “I loved RGU, I thought it was fantastic because you get third year work experience. That’s what sets us aside.
“My highs from my time at university include meeting a lovely group of course mates from all over Scotland, as well as my year’s work experience.
“My Mum has a taxation background and I have always wanted to study accountancy.”
Ms Fraser was joined yesterday by her parents Vera and Hugh Fraser, and her brother Calum Fraser.
