The accident, which happened at around 12.30pm, was at the Co-op station on the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road. It is understood that the caravan, which was under tow, struck the pump, as it left the filling station. Although the pump was damaged, fortunately there was no fuel spilled. An employee at the filling station said that the pump was shut down so that repairs could be carried out.
