The incident, which involved two men outside of a block of flats on Oldtown Road in Hilton, was reported to police at about 4pm on Saturday. The man is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court tomorrow. A 48-year-old man needed hospital treatment after the incident on Saturday afternoon. The man was released from Raigmore Hospital later the same day. Police said that a “knife or similar weapon” was used during the attack.
