Police appeal over Wick assault

Police are appealing for information after a woman was reported to have been assaulted in Wick last night.

The incident took place at about 10.20pm in a lane leading to Kirk Lane car park in the town centre.

Police said that enquiries are “at an early stage” and no further information would be provided at this time.
