Police in Inverness were called to a city-centre car park last night after a man threatened to jump from the top floor.
Officers attended the Rose Street multi-story near Inverness Railway Station after receiving a call just before 7pm.
Later police confirmed they had “positively resolved” the situation, which involved a man in his 20s.
Members of the public were warned to stay away from the area as officers blocked off Railway Terrace, Rose Street and Longman Road.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a male person has been detained following an earlier incident at the Rose Street multi-storey car park Inverness.
“We would like to thank the public for their patience.”
