A trailer displaying one Black Isle landowner’s support for the Union has been vandalised.
The trailer was painted with the “No Thanks” slogan and left in a field beside the Tore Roundabout on the A9 Inverness-Thurso road.
From a distance, the trailer looks like it has been riddled with bullets, but on closer inspection small drips of black paint are visible around each “bullet hole”, and it is possible that a paint ball gun was used.
But one man who drove past the sign yesterday morning, said it looked like it “has been shot up”.
There are more than 120 separate marks on the trailer, which sits between roundabout spurs leading to the the A835 Tore-Ullapool road and the A832 Tore-Muir of Ord road.
