A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in Inverness after an accident on a Highland road yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened on the A833 Drumnadrochit to Beauly road at Culnakirk.
Emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire service, were alerted around 1.40pm and the road was closed while they worked at the scene.
A fire service spokesman said crews from Beauly helped paramedics carry the man to the air ambulance. They also assisted police with traffic management.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said the casualty was flown to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
A police spokeswoman said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
