This hole in the road was spotted at a popular shopping centre in Inverness.
While many parts of the Inshes Retail Park bear the marks of wear and tear from years of valued custom, the white markings on the tarmac have worn away to leave an arrow-shaped hazard on the road.
And it doesn’t stop there, for wear and tear has also created a pothole in the shape of a Give Way sign just a few hundred yards away.
But these sights may be a thing of the past as those in charge of maintenance at the retail park have started resurfacing large areas of the pitted car park.
