Firefighters were called to a house fire in the Smithton area of Inverness last night.
The fire in a two-storey, semi-detached property in Cameron Crescent was reported just before 10.15pm.
A fire service spokesman said nobody had been in the property when the incident was reported.
Appliances from Inverness and Nairn attended the incident and firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire, which was extinguished by about 10.45pm.
The living room of the property suffered 50% fire damage and 100% smoke damage. Nobody was hurt.
