Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on a road in Inverness. Police and fire were made aware of an incident on Millburn Road at around 3.30pm on Wednesday. The crash involved two cars and two people involved were taken to Raigmore Hospital by ambulance. The road northbound from Millburn roundabout was closed while emergency services attend the scene but has since reopened. A police spokeswoman said: “At 3.20pm police were made aware of a road crash involving two vehicles. “The road has reopened and two people have been taken to Raigmore.” Two fire appliances from the Inverness station on Millburn Road were on the scene and using hydraulic cutting equipment. Reports suggested one of the vehicles involved in the incident had its roof removed by the fire service in order to cut someone free from the car.
