The Inverness Post Office has been refurbished as part of a multi-million pound national investment programme.
Customers have a new look branch in the city’s Queensgate, with new counters being installed, as well as three new self-service kiosks to increase mail services and help reduce waiting times.
It also boasts a private consultation room where customers can speak to specialist advisors about the Post Office’s range of financial services products, and home phone and broadband services.
Martin Rouse, Post Office regional manager, said: “We are delighted with the changes that have been made at Inverness Post Office and are confident that customers will be just as pleased.”
The change is part of a major programme across the Post Office network, which has already seen 3,000 branches across the UK modernised, with many offering extended opening hours.
