Abbie Morris, 11, from Port Ellen on the island of Islay won the solo singing competion in the 11 – 12 years class. Then her seven-year-old twin sisters Rebecca and Rowan went to head to head with 19 other competitors in the solo singing for ages seven to eight. Rebecca came first with her twin Rowan taking the second prize with only one mark less. Their mother Gillian said: “They are really keen on their singing, and Rowan is quite laid back about coming second to her twin sister.”
