Five taken to hospital following road crash near Loch Ness

Five people have been injured in a one vehicle accident on a Highland road.
The incident happened after 11pm on the B862 Fort Augustus to Inverness road, near Aldourie School, Dores.
Five people are being taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, following the crash.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We got the call at 11.20pm. We have taken five patients from the scene, three walking wounded and two were stretcher patients.”
No further information on the casualties is currently available.
Two fire and rescue teams from Inverness- including a heavy rescue unit – were sent to the scene at 11.25pm
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “Everyone was out prior to our arrival, all casualties were in the care of the ambulance. Our crews assisted with lighting and making the scene safe.”
The road has not been closed due to the collision.
