Mark Burgess was last seen at his home in the West Yorkshire city at around 10.30pm on Wednesday night before he headed north of Inverness. It is understood he may have been travelling to John o’ Groats. Detective Inspector Steven Greenbank, of Wakefield CID, said he was “very concerned” for his well-being. Mr Burgess is described as being white, 5ft 8 with thick-set sandy-coloured hair. The 58-year-old is understood to be driving a grey Toyota Yaris with the vehicle registration YC13 ZJV. DI Wakefield said: “I would appeal to him or anyone who sees him to contact police on 101 quoting West Yorkshire log number 426. “We know that he was north of Inverness on Friday, October 17, so are particularly appealing to anyone in that area to be on the look out for him.”
