Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was attacked in Inverness city centre in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident happened in the Waterloo Place area of the city between midnight and 1am.
The male suspect is described as 30 years old, 6ft tall and of medium build with collar length dark hair. He was thought to be wearing a thick lumberjack checked shirt, light blue jeans and boots.
Police are particularly keen to trace a second male who reportedly intervened in this assault. This man and anyone else with information should contact police in Inverness on 101.
