A slip road off the A9 in Inverness that was closed by police earlier today has now been reopened to traffic.
Emergency services attended the scene at Sir Walter Scott Drive in the Beechwood Business Park this morning.
Police said the road, across from the Brewers Fayre Inshes Gate bar and restaurant, was closed as a precautionary measure due to a liquid spillage.
Witnesses said a lorry appeared to have shed its load. A silver container was left lying in the road, with liquid leaking out.
Five fire units including a hazardous materials unit, one ambulance, two special operations ambulance vehicles, police and the Scottish Environment and Protection Agency (Sepa) were all present at the scene.
Police confirmed shortly before 12pm that the road was fully re-opened.
