Firefighters had to remove the driver’s side door to release the trapped woman from the vehicle, a Honda CRV, which ended up on its roof. It is understood that she has been taken by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. There is no information on her injuries. The accident happened on the B9007 Duthil-Ferness road, close to the Cairngorms National Park Authority boundary, at around 12.40pm. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said that the Carrbridge community response unit was on the scene, along with two crews from Grantown. Another woman, who was uninjured, was out of the vehicle before the fire service arrived.
