Yesterday police said that John Muir, 33, and Patrick Reid, 51, have now been traced. Mr Muir had gone missing from the Caley House in Millburn Road, Inverness, on Hogmanay. He was found in the local area. Mr Reid, meanwhile, was reported missing on January 2 after travelling from Inverness to Edinburgh on Hogmanay and failing to return. He was traced safe and well in the Edinburgh area. Police thanked the public for their help on both matters.
