A woman had to be cut free from the wreckage of her car after the two-vehicle crash on the A9 Inverness-Perth road yesterday. The drivers of both vehicles involved were taken to Raigmore Hospital for assessment but neither was seriously injured. The accident happened at the Tomatin end of the Slochd to Tomatin section of dual carriageway shortly before 5pm. Police have appealed to anybody who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101 with any information.
