One person is missing and another in hospital after a major blaze in Sutherland.
Firefighters are still on the scene of the incident in Rosehall however the fire, which broke out at around 9.30pm last night, was extinguished just after 9am.
Crews from across the Highlands have been involved overnight, with firefighters from as far away as Inverness and Ullapool drafted in to relieve local crews.
Firefighters are now involved in damping down.
In a statement a fire service spokesman said: “One casualty has been taken to hospital but unfortunately another remains unaccounted for at this time.
“Fire crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue service have deployed breathing apparatus teams into the property to fight the fire and also search and rescue for the missing person.
“It is too early to state the cause of the fire at this time, but a full investigation will be carried out by fire and police when the incident comes to a close.”
