Firefighters have tackled a house fire which gutted part of a Highland home.
Two fire crews were alerted to the outbreak at Templand outside Fortrose, at around 9.50pm on Monday night.
The firefighters from Inverness and Fortrose managed to bring the blaze, which spread across two properties, under control by 12pm.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We had a house fire. It happened at 9.47pm. The roof was on fire, we had four breathing apparatus committed and two hose reel jets in use.
“It spread to the adjacent property as well as part of the roof.”
Nobody is thought to have been hurt during the incident.
The spokesman added: “I believe everyone was out on arrival.”
A police spokesman confirmed they had been called to the incident, but could not confirm if officers were treating it as suspicious.
