A Caley Thistle player has been fined by police following an incident in Inverness in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Inverness winger Aaron Doran, 23, was one of three men handed fixed penalty notices after a “minor disturbance”.
It is believed another of the men involved, was reportedly also a Caley Thistle player, but he has yet to be identified.
Police Scotland confirmed: “At approximately 3.10am hours on Sunday, police officers on foot patrol in Inverness attended a minor disturbance on Castle Wynd.
“Three men in their 20s were issued fixed penalty notices in connection with the incident. No one was injured.”
Doran joined the Caley Jags, originally on loan from Blackburn Rovers in 2011, before joining the Highland club on a permanent deal.
He has made over 100 appearances for the club, including 25 games this season.
