An Inverness labrador, made homeless three times in two years, is looking for a new home once again.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity took in Tarn, a six year old black lab, after his owner could no longer care for him.
Staff at the Scottish SPCA’s rehoming centre in Inverness are now appealing for someone to come forward and offer Tarn his forever home.
Assistant manager Dawn Fraser said, “Unfortunately when we found Tarn a new owner the first time round he was returned as he wasn’t getting along with a cat in the household.
“Tarn was then offered another home and we thought things would work out this time but sadly his separation anxiety proved too much for his new owner to cope with.
“He can get quite upset when left alone in a house so we are looking for an owner who can keep him company for the majority of the day.
“Although his separation anxiety should ease with time, it will take an understanding person to help him get over this and we want any potential owners to be fully aware of the issue.
“Tarn is a super affectionate boy who will do just about anything for a biscuit. He needs lots of exercise as he is very lively and tends to do everything at top speed.
“This lovely lad truly deserves to find a permanent and stable home where he can finally settle. We would love to hear from anyone who thinks Tarn would be a good match for them.”
Those interested in offering Tarn a new home are being asked to contact the Scottish SPCA’s Inverness centre on 03000 999 999.
