A man has been arrested following a disturbance near Inverness city centre.
The incident occurred at around 7pm at a property in Portland Place near the Shore Street roundabout in the city centre.
Police were made aware of a man causing a disturbance and attended the scene.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested following the incident, with officers confirming there is no risk to the wider public.
A police spokesman said: “We were made aware of a man causing a disturbance at a property on Portland Place in Inverness shortly after 7.10pm on Wednesday, 16 November.
“Officers attended and a 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
“Nobody was injured and the incident was contained, with no risk to the wider public.”
