A mobility scooter has been involved in a crash with a lorry on Longman Road in Inverness.
Emergency services were called to the incident across from Inverness Sheriff Court just before noon on Thursday.
It is understood an ambulance attended the scene but there were no serious injuries reported.
A police spokeswoman said: “Around 11.50am officers were called to a report of a crash involving a lorry and a mobility scooter on Longman Road, Inverness.
“Emergency services are at the scene.”
An eyewitness said the scooter involved in the incident looked to have sustained minimal damage.
Traffic was heavy on Longman Road and Harbour Road following the crash, with Bear Scotland attending to help guide drivers around it. The road remained open throughout and traffic is now returning to normal.
