Residents in the Cradlehall and Westhill areas of the city lost power from 12pm to 1.50pm as SSE engineers worked to fix the problem. An SSE spokesman said that a total of 3,201 customers were affected by the outage. He added that the cause of the power cut was unclear and that it was not thought to be due to high winds.
